Installation & Activation
Get BF Blocks installed and running on your WordPress site in under five minutes.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.0 or higher
- PHP 8.0 or higher
- A valid BF Blocks licence key (available from your licence portal)
Step 1 — Download the Plugin
Log in to your BF Blocks portal and navigate to Licences. Click Download Plugin next to your active licence. You will receive a .zip file.
Step 2 — Upload to WordPress
- In your WordPress admin, navigate to Plugins → Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Choose the
bf-blocks.zipfile you downloaded. - Click Install Now and wait for the upload to complete.
Step 3 — Activate the Plugin
After installation, click Activate Plugin. You will see a new BF Blocks menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar.
Step 4 — Enter Your Licence Key
- In your WordPress admin, navigate to BF Blocks → Licence.
- Paste your licence key into the field provided.
- Click Activate Licence.
- A green confirmation message confirms your licence is active.

Troubleshooting
⚠️ "Invalid licence key" error
Double-check you've copied the full key from your portal. Keys are case-sensitive.
⚠️ "Licence already in use" error
Your licence is activated on another site. Deactivate it from the portal or from the other site's BF Blocks → Licence screen before reactivating here.
⚠️ Plugin won't activate — fatal error
Confirm your server meets the PHP 8.0+ requirement. Check with your hosting provider.
⚠️ BF Blocks menu not visible after activation
Ensure your user role has the manage_options capability. This is standard for Administrator accounts.
