Using Built-In Templates

BF Blocks ships with a library of pre-built block templates for the most common content patterns — hero sections, testimonials, pricing tables, FAQs, and more.

Browsing the Template Library

Navigate to BF Blocks → Templates in your WordPress admin. The library shows all available templates with a preview thumbnail and category badge.

Use the category filter buttons at the top to narrow the list: All, Layout, Marketing, Content, Social Proof, and more.

Inserting a Template

  1. Click a template card to preview it.
  2. Click Insert Template. A fully-configured block is added to your BF Blocks library.
  3. The new block appears in the Gutenberg inserter immediately — no further setup needed.
  4. Edit the block in the builder if you want to rename it, change its fields, or adjust settings.

Templates are a starting point

Inserting a template creates a copy — changes to the template after insertion do not affect the block you inserted. You own the block and can modify it freely.

Customising After Insert

After inserting a template you can:

  • Rename the block and change its icon/category.
  • Add, remove, or reorder fields.
  • Override the PHP template in your theme.
  • Save it as your own custom template for reuse.
